My name is Geoff Ostell and I am the sole remaining owner of 2 Tall Guys Painting, Since 2013 I have been painting, staining, and repairing drywall in the Waterloo region one house at a time. I know the difference that care and attention has on the end result of a painting project. That's why I treat every project as if it were my own home. I offer a friendly service, free estimates, and I can work around your schedule. From ceilings and walls to stairs and halls, I do it all, and I do it TALL.
My Process
Every job is a little bit different, but here are some universal principles that I apply to all of my work
Dust Control and Thorough Masking
An ounce of protection is worth a pound of clean-up. No effort is spared to mask surrounding floors and furniture. The work area is isolated with plastic during repairs to prevent the spread of dust.
Thorough Preparation and Repairs
Preparation is the key to a quality paint job done efficiently. Some projects require more preparation than others. This preparation includes sanding, repairing, washing, and re-caulking.
Expert Application
Products are applied carefully and according to manufacturer specifications. Edges are painted free hand with a brush and back-rolled to eliminate brush strokes in the paint. This ensures a smooth and seamless application.
Quality Control and Thorough Cleanup
A thorough inspection at the end of the project means that no mistake is overlooked. The jobsite is tidied at the end of each workday, and left cleaner than it began when the project is completed.
